Lesson on 17th December - Requirement Analysis

We have been talking about Requirements Gathering didnt we ?
(God Bless the absentees !) GRRRRRR..... ( Angry Face ) 😈

Just Kidding folks ,

We need to recap what we did, try doing these questions  ,


  • What is a requirement ?
  • What is the difference between a user requirement and a system requirement ? 
  • who are the people involved in requirements gathering process ?
  • what are functional requirements ? what are nonfunctional requirements ? 
  • can you provide an example of those from an ATM system ? 
  • what are the typical non functional requirements expected from a hospital management system ?

  • what are the  data gathering techniques we learnt ?

  1. Interviewing the End Users
    interviews can be either (Structured ,Semi Structured or Unstructured) or (formal or informal) or (Individual or panel )
    Questions can be asked - Open ended or closed ended
  2. Conducting Surveys with Questionnaires
